Thank you to all who joined us at this year’s Splendor Gala – it was another beautiful and successful event – with close to 500 people in attendance.  

This was a banner year for what has become the museum’s signature fundraiser.  We saw increases in support in every category – Corporate sponsorships increased by $15,000, the live auction brought in $41,250 above goal and the silent auction came in $23,045 above its goal. In addition, the art work available at this year’s event sold for $120,695 and included works by many important artists.

This resulted in a truly remarkable net profit of $343,000 - which is approximately $50,000 above last year. Last year’s event raised $49,000 more than the year prior, resulting in an overall increase of $100,000 over two years.
